Boy Scout Reservation to host a solar field!
This makes me very proud as a Scout Leader. The Boston Globe reported:
The largest solar array in the state will be built on a reservation owned by a regional Boy Scouts of America organization in the central Massachusetts town of Rutland. The array, a 6-megawatt photovoltaic generation facility, will be built by Nexamp Inc. of North Andover. It will consist of roughly 20,500 panels situated on 30 acres at the Treasure Valley Boy Scout Reservation in Rutland. The energy to be generated by the facility is capable of powering 900 homes.
